FAQ

How much does PR cost?

"It depends" is a terrible answer, but unfortunately it is very hard to give set pricings for most PR programmes. Every client's needs are different. We would always prefer to understand what it is you are trying to achieve and then set feasible budgets with you. We promise we will never construct quotes that aim to 'spend up' your money - and we will also tell you if we think your budget could be better spent in a different way than PR or if you need a different type of agency.

Can you guarantee coverage?

Coverage depends on catching the imagination of journalists, and it is their decision whether or not a story or news item merits coverage or further investigation. We will help you increase the odds by making your story crystal clear, and thinking of creative ways to bring it alive, illustrate it, or get the point across. Unfortunately, however, we aren't miracle workers and if a story is not new or interesting, that's a tough challenge to beat. With time and creativity, PR results are always possible - because we have a huge range of PR techniques to call on, and boundless ideas and enthusiasm.

Will you send out my press release?

Often our answer is no to this - because PR is not only about press releases, and they very often don't create the results you want or need. Press releases play a role in PR, and are very useful for putting stories on the record, making them researchable later, and giving you a visible track record of communications. Our 'no' answer is therefore usually followed by 'at least, we won't only send out your press release' because of course we can and we do use this tactic - but we usually add others too!
