It’s very rare that a PR agency decides that it can’t help a cause, but the PR expert who has previously been working for Charlie Sheen has recently decided to resign from his position. Stan Rosenfeld has just quit and has said:

‘I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much. However, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned.’

After Charlie’s recent outbursts during live interviews, it’s easy to see why Stan has decided to resign from his position, but if Charlie is ever going to recover, he needs to get help. Any PR agency would now be advising Charlie to get help for his addictions before throwing himself into his career again. It would do his image a lot of good if he issued an apology for his behaviour too. Things have gone too far for Charlie Sheen and no public relations expert would be able to fix his public image at this stage. Charlie himself has to take the first step to recovery and then perhaps he will be in the right place to build up his public image again.
