In-house departments working alongside a PR agency

A lot of companies choose to have in-house public relations teams to deal with their PR and marketing. It can be really effective to have people within the company who are familiar with its work to handle a PR campaign. But sometimes, there is a need to enlist the help of a PR agency too, particularly for important events or occasions within the life of the company. That is why Mamas & Papas, which manufacture baby products, has chosen to employ a PR consultancy to assist with its campaign during the 30th anniversary of the business. The PR agency that it has chosen will work alongside the in-house team for an initial four-month campaign and it is thought that it will focus on promoting the fact that Mamas & Papas is a favourite with celebrity mums and dads. The PR agency will also communicate the brands message of being good value, but quality products. Part of the campaign will see the baby product brand give away £30,000 worth of its products. Even if a company does have an in-house PR department, for major events and campaigns, it’s much more effective to have that extra pair of hands and expert knowledge from a PR agency. Share this
