Most small businesses are running on a relatively tight budget; particularly as they slowly recover from the recession.

So they are constantly looking for ways in which to raise their profile without blowing their budget. For most companies, advertising is the obvious way to make people aware of their services, but public relations can be much more effective and at a much better price.

In fact, PR can be so powerful that even Bill Gates once said: ‘If I was down to my last dollar, I’d spend it on PR’.

And that’s what more and more companies are doing as they see that the right PR can completely transform a company’s image and make people more aware of its products, services and messages.

One of the most effective tools used by a public relations agency is a press release. A public relations company will have the skills, knowledge and creativity to write an engaging release, which is targeted to specific publications and which is sent out at the right time.

A PR agency will have the inside knowledge to know exactly how to target individual publications. They will also know how each magazine or publication operates – so they will know the deadlines of a monthly magazine might be two months ahead, for example.

With their creativity and inside knowledge as well as your industry expertise, you could have a really powerful PR tool that will be capable of transforming your company image.
