Who

Claire Cranton MCIPR

Claire has worked in PR for most of her career. Her first communications job at New Scotland Yard was a baptism of fire, dealing with things as diverse as EURO ‘96, the Docklands bombing and the Brixton riots – plus promoting Community Constable of the Year and the Emergency Services Annual Gardens Competition. At the ITC (now OfCom) she helped to launch Channel 5 and and later moved to the BBC corporate Press Office. She spent some time in high-tech PR consultancy at Firefly Communications running client programmes and then moved to Nortel Networks at the height of the telecoms boom. Here she managed teams across EMEA to drive brand visibility for the CRM and mobile communications sectors through news, opinion and case studies, as well as being involved in corporate and crisis communications.

Claire is currently on maternity leave, but expected to return at some point when she gets tired of our nagging her to do so.
